Who knew Lily of the Valley had these pretty orange seeds at the end of the season? My husband / field guide pointed it out and this quick sketch documents the fact in my perpetual journal. I started a new hand bound journal this year while taking a Lara Gastinger summer course. Her work is wonderful. You can find her on Instagram.  Expect to see Lily of the Valley or Convallaria majalis in my future textile designs. Did you know they are poisonous if consumed? I did not!
